Hall of Fame
Hagen-Smith was the head coach of Shawnee State's women's basketball team from 1988 to 2013. During that time, she amassed a 638-160 record.

- 1999 NAIA National Championship
- 2010 NAIA National Runner-Up
- 23 20-win seasons
- 20 NAIA National Tournament appearances in a 22-season stretch, and 22 overall.
- 15 seasons with 25 wins or more (including streaks of 9 and 5 consecutive)
- 10 conference tournament championships
- 7 appearances in the NAIA National Quarterfinals or deeper (93-94, 94-95, 95-96, 98-99, 00-01, 09-10, 10-11)
Hagen-Smith was one of six individuals named to the Shawnee State Athletics Hall of Fame's inaugural Class of 2000, was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010 and the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2011. Hagen-Smith's 1999 NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship team was inducted into the SSU Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
