A four-year starter, Shawnee State guard Bailey Cummins made an immediate impact as one of the program’s most electric players. She averaged 13.8 points, 4.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 49.4% from the field and 40.6% from three. During her career, SSU went 116-21, reaching the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship Game each year and winning three MSC Tournament titles and two Regular Season Championships.

A three-time NAIA All-American (2018-2020), Cummins helped the 2017-18 Bears reach a No. 1 NAIA national ranking as a sophomore. As a senior, she posted 18.7 points, 5.6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals per game on 52.3% shooting, earning MSC Player of the Year honors. Cummins was also named the 2019-20 MSC Female Athlete of the Year across all sports.

She finished as SSU’s all-time leader in games started (135), free throw percentage (87.1%), total assists (656), and assist average (4.8), while ranking fourth in points (1,892) and top-five in multiple other categories.
