Hall of Fame
One of the most decorated coaches in the history of the Shawnee State Athletic Department, Shawnee State head coach Ralph Cole won 70 percent of his games, going 625-271-3 over the course of his time at SSU, which spanned from 1992 to 2014.
Over the course of that time, Cole led Shawnee State to the following:
- 1996 NAIA National Runner-Up finish
- 6 NAIA World Series appearances (1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001)
- 10 conference tournament championships
- 8 30-win seasons (including five consecutive from 1995 to 1999)
- 3 40-win seasons (all consecutive from 1995 to 1997)
- 3 undefeated seasons in conference play (1993, 1995, 1996)
