Hall of Fame
Brad Liston ran for four years as part of the SSU Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams, collecting a significant number of accolades along the way.
Overall, Liston was a four-time All-Mid-South Conference (MSC) honoree who qualified for a NAIA National Championship event seven times between the two sports. He finished sixth at the NAIA National Championships in 2013, after earning MSC Runner of the Year recognition for the second year in a row.
During his time with the Bears, the Men’s Cross Country program finished in the top ten at the NAIA National Championships all four years, including 4th (2010), 9th (2011) and 7th (2012 & 2013). Liston, individually, finished 35th, 63rd and 6th in 2011, 2012 and 2013, respectively to cap off a brilliant career.
In Track & Field, Liston, a two-time NAIA National Qualifier, won three MSC Championship events -- the 5,000 meter run, the 3,000 meter steeplechase and the 4-by-800 meter relay -- with Shawnee State.
