With the return to school on the horizon, many of Shawnee State's finest student-athletes have been working to get ready for the upcoming academic year.
Shawnee State freshman women's golfer
Saylor Crace, however, certainly accomplished a feat on Tuesday evening that will give her a boost prior to the 2025-26 school year beginning.
Crace, a native of nearby Waverly, posted a rare feat right off of the rip, nabbing a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of the Elks Country Club less than a week prior to the start of classes -- doing so at the home course for the Shawnee State women's and men's golf programs.
Crace's hole-in-one came on the 136-yard par three.
