The women's golf program will embark on its first fall under Shawnee State women's golf alum and first-year head coach
Erika Martin with a fall semester schedule that includes four tournaments -- with the schedule starting and ending in the Hoosier State in a schedule release that was made public Monday.
Martin's club begins the season with a short trip right across the Ohio-Indiana state line -- as the Bears head to Richmond, Ind. for the Indiana-East Fall Invite, which commences on Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30 at Highland Lake Golf Course. The Bears then head southward down U.S. 23 to play in the UPike Fall Invitational, which will be held at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Ky. on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30 -- which proves to be a tune-up for the River States Conference's Fall Preview that will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7 at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va.
Shawnee State closes out the fall proceedings at the Crimson Classic on Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12 -- where the SSU women's golf program will play alongside the SSU men's golf program at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Ind.
