Larry Drake laid down an RBI sacrifice bunt to put the Bears ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the second.
Eli Jones hit an RBI single later in the inning to extend Shawnee State's lead to 2-0.
Jace Parnin singled to right field in the fourth, driving in two runs and pushing the Bears' lead to 4-0.
The Stallions scored three runs in the fifth to cut Shawnee State's advantage to 4-3.
The Bears scored six runs in the eighth, highlighted by
Jack Amis drawing an RBI walk,
Byson Arthur hitting an RBI single to left field and
Zach Gaspar slugging a grand slam over the center-field wall.
Evan Hood held Abraham Baldwin scoreless in the ninth as Shawnee State secured the 10-3 win over the Stallions.
The win for the Bears marks the first time Shawnee State has won two or more games at the NAIA National Tournament since 2000.
Trevor Ollier earned the win, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight.
Hood notched his third save of the season, throwing three innings of one-hit, shutout baseball.
Byson Arthur went 3-for-5 with an RBI, while
Zach Gaspar finished 2-for-3 with a grand slam.
Jace Parnin batted 1-for-3 with two RBI, while
Jack Amis and
Eli Jones each finished with an RBI single.
Mason Reid went 1-for-4.
Shawnee State has recorded 19 hits over its last two games,
of which only one has gone for extra bases.
