PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Following a seven-hit weekend in Oakland City,
Jace Parnin has joined Shawnee State baseball's 100-hit club.
Parnin sits at 101 career hits at Shawnee State and is the third active player to join the 100-hit club, joining teammates
Zach Gaspar (119) and
Diego Mendoza (166).
The Fort Wayne, Indiana, co-leads the Bears with seven home runs, and is the third in batting average (.378), doubles (10) and RBI (31).
Shawnee State returns to action Tuesday, April 14, when it travels to Frank Loria Memorial Field in Nutter Fort, West Virginia, to face Salem. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
