Box Score PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Shawnee State (21-9, 11-4) extended its winning streak to five games Tuesday with a midweek win over Campbellsville.
Campbellsville opened the scoring Tuesday afternoon as Antony Gilbert hit a solo home run in the first inning to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
The Bears rallied with two outs in the bottom of the third as
Diego Mendoza singled, followed by an RBI double fromÂ
Owen Elsey to score
Austin Elkins, who pinch ran for Mendoza.
Byson Arthur then launched a two-run homer to give the Bears a 3-1 lead.
Campbellsville scored a run in the fourth to cut the Bears' lead to 3-2.

Austin Elkins in the fifth, pushing Shawnee State's lead to 4-2.
The Tigers tied the game at 4-4 in the sixth on a two-RBI double by Brady Henke.
Shawnee State retook the lead in the bottom of the inning as
Nolan Austin hit a two-run homer to put the Bears ahead 6-4.
Campbellsville scored twice in the seventh to tie the game at 6-6, highlighted by a sacrifice fly from Kyle Liu and a solo home run by Jaxson Grubbs.
The Bears scored four runs in the eighth.
Zach Gaspar and
Jack Amis drew RBI walks, while
Nolan Austin and
Diego Mendoza were each hit by a pitch to drive in runs.
Jace Parnin held the Tigers scoreless in the ninth to secure the 10-6 win for Shawnee State.
Parnin earned the win, allowing one run on one hit and one walk over 2 2/3 innings while striking out three.
Diego Mendoza and
Eli Jones both batted 2-for-3, with Mendoza adding an RBI.
Owen Elsey went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
Jack Amis and
Larry Drake each finished 1-for-4, with Amis driving in one.
Byson Arthur batted 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Arthur leads Shawnee State with six home runs on the season.
Nolan Austin finished 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBI.
