PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Shawnee State men's soccer has unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring eight home matches and nine road contests.

Shawnee State will open its first season as an NCAA Division II member on Thursday, Aug. 27, traveling to Crestview Hills, Kentucky, to take on Thomas More at Republic Bank Field. The Bears will then travel to Huntsville, Alabama, on Sunday, Aug. 30, to face the University of Alabama in Huntsville at Charger Park, followed by a road contest against Ohio Dominican on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Panther Stadium in Columbus.

Shawnee State will play its first Mountain East Conference match on Sunday, Sept. 6, traveling to Buckhannon, West Virginia, to take on West Virginia Wesleyan at Culpepper Stadium.

Shawnee State's home opener is set for Tuesday, Sept. 8, when the Bears host the University of Cincinnati-Clermont in Portsmouth at 7:30 p.m.

The following week, Shawnee State will travel to Athens, West Virginia, on Sunday, Sept. 13, to face Concord at Callaghan Stadium before visiting Salem on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The Bears will then return to Portsmouth to host Charleston on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 2:30 p.m. and Davis & Elkins on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m.

The Bears will round out their September schedule with a road match against West Liberty at the West Family Athletic Complex on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Shawnee State will open October at home on Sunday, Oct. 4, hosting Point Park at 2:30 p.m. before traveling to Bishop Schmitt Field to face Wheeling on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Bears will then return to Portsmouth to host Frostburg State on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 2:30 p.m. and Salem on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m.

The Bears' final regular-season road trip will take place on Sunday, Oct. 18, as Shawnee State travels to face Charleston at the Welch Athletic Complex.

Two home matches will round out Shawnee State's regular-season schedule, with the Bears hosting West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2:30 p.m. and Concord on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m.

The start date for the Mountain East Conference Men's Soccer Tournament remains to be announced.
