OLIVE HILL, Ky. -- The Shawnee State women's golf team placed second in the Kentucky Christian Spring Invitational, and had two players finish in the top 10.
The event was held at Grayson Lake State Park, a par-73 course.
The Bears shot 212-over-par as a team, finishing above Bluefield and Kentucky Christian.
Midway won the event at 77-over-par.
Aly Wellman shot a team-low 36-over-par to lead Shawnee State. Wellman finished eighth in the 23-player field.
Saylor Crace placed tenth, shooting 52-over-par,
