DANIELS, W. Va. -- Shawnee State's women's golf team concluded its spring season with a seventh-place finish at the River States Conference Championship.

The event was held at The Resort at Glade Spring, a par-72 course.

The Bears shot 261-over-par as a team, just above Rio Grande (+270).

Midway shot 88-over-par to win the conference championship.

Aly Wellman shot a team-low 53-over-par, finishing 26th in a 44-player field.

Midway's Savannah Salchli was the lowest individual scorer, shooting 16-over-par.

Brynna Spencer was named Shawnee State women's golf's Champion of Character.
