MARIETTA, Ohio -- Jaina Bailey broke Shawnee State's women's indoor track and field weight throw record at the River States Conference Championship Meet with a mark of 15.15 meters.

Bailey surpassed Alexis Putnam's mark of 12.26 to establish the new program record.

Putnam still holds the indoor record for shot put (12.12 meters), as well as the outdoor records for discuss (38.32 meters) and hammer throw (35.66 meters).
