Cisco, Brammer officially announced as qualifiers for NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field National Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The standout women's indoor track and field duo of Olivia Cisco and Natalie Brammer officially achieved more accolades Wednesday -- as Cisco and Brammer were each named as NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field National Championship Qualifiers in the 5,000 meter run and the 3,000 meter racewalk, respectively, as announced by national officials from the NAIA. The meet will be held at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center in Gainesville, Fla. from Thursday, Feb. 27 to Saturday, March 1.

Cisco, who continues her fantastic running form, is now three for her last three in terms of national championship qualifications. The junior from Waverly qualified for the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in the 10,000 meter run, then added in a qualifying time in the 2024 NAIA Cross Country National Championships as an individual, placing 52nd to finish as the highest-placing River States Conference runner at the cross country national championships.

Cisco is currently seeded 16th nationally with a time of 17:39.11 in the women's 5,000 meter run. The junior will participate in the 5,000 meter run preliminaries on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 1:15 p.m. -- and has the potential to qualify for the 5,000 meter run finals on Saturday, March 1 at 3:55 p.m.

Brammer, who qualified for the NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships for the second consecutive year in the 3,000 meter racewalk, will participate in the 3,000 meter racewalk preliminaries. Brammer's NAIA National Qualifying mark was also under 18 minutes for the second straight year, placing the Wheelersburg product 21st fastest in the NAIA -- which also marks, for the second straight season, a NAIA National Top 25 time for Brammer.

Brammer will compete in the 3,000 meter racewalk preliminaries Thursday morning at 10:45 a.m. -- with the potential to qualify for Friday morning's 10:45 a.m. finals.
