The women's soccer program's home contest against Cincinnati-Clermont, which was scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Shawnee Turf in Portsmouth, has been moved to Monday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Shawnee Turf.

With the moved date, Shawnee State women's and men's soccer's home openers will now be on the same day -- Saturday, Aug. 30.

Both teams will take on two nonconference opponents from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) at Shawnee Turf, as the Shawnee State women's soccer program will play Pikeville (Ky.) at 5 p.m. while the Shawnee State men's soccer program will play No. 20 Milligan (Tenn.) at 7 p.m. Pikeville enters Saturday's match 1-0 while Milligan comes into Saturday evening's matchup 0-0-1 with a Wednesday evening contest against SCAD Savannah yet to be played.

The movement of Shawnee State's contest with UC-Clermont will give the Bears two home dates in September (Wednesday, Sept. 3, Union, 5 p.m.; Monday, Sept. 8, UC-Clermont, 7 p.m.).
