PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – For the first time this season, senior Reagan Lewis has been named Mid-South Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week.

In Thursday's joint-meet with the University of Pikeville, Lewis collected a pair of individual first place finishes – winning both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events with times of 27.64 and 1:02.92, respectively.

Although the women's team fell to Pikeville 36-74, Lewis' efforts helped propel SSU to a combined 142–134 overall win.

Lewis, a dual-sport athlete (volleyball), and the Shawnee State women's swim team are back in action on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Falling Springs Center in Versailles, Kentucky against Midway University. Start time set for 1 p.m.
