The men's and women's swimming programs at Shawnee State University will host a special event Saturday, Nov. 15, as the Bears will conduct the Wild and Wacky Relays Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. inside the Warsaw Aquatic Center on the Shawnee State University campus.

Registration, which is $200 for a team of four people of all ages unaffliated with Shawnee State and $100 for a team of four individuals who are either students, faculty or staff at Shawnee State, is available at https://shawneestateswimming.totalcamps.com/shop/product/551742. Registration can also be produced at the door.

As part of competing in the Wild and Wacky Relays, all ages need to be able to swim 25 meters without assistance and with a t-shirt on -- and the participants who are affliated with Shawnee State must have a Bear Card to identify themselves.

By registering, each group of four will automatically be entered into four different types of relays -- the freestyle relay, the t-shirt relay, the floatie relay and the eat pie relay.

Those who desire not to swim can still sponsor a team of four people to swim the relays.
