ATHENS, W. Va. -- Shawnee State (2-3-1, 1-1-0) suffered its first Mountain East Conference loss on Sunday at Callghan Stadium, falling to Concord, 2-1.
The Mountain Lions struck first, scoring a goal in the 33' to take a 1-0 lead.
The Bears didn't record a shot in the first half, while junior goalkeeper
Floyd Watts finished with three saves.
Shawnee State recorded back-to-back shots in the second half, with
Samuel Richter's attempt saved in the 55' before
Wilfredo Obregon's shot hit the right post in the 56'.
Three minutes later,
Julian Bustos scored his second goal of the season, assisted byÂ

Théo Cavaleiro Trindade, to tie the match 1-1.
Concord retook the lead, 2-1, with a goal in the 81'.
The Bears didn't take a shot over the final nine minutes, as the Mountain Lions secured the 2-1 conference win.
Bears by the Numbers
Julian Bustos scored his second goal of the season. The junior is second on the team in goals (2) and points (4).
Théo Cavaleiro Trindade recorded his team-leading third assist of the season. Trindade leads the Mountain East Conference with nine points and is part of a five-way tie for the conference lead in assists.
João Coqueti Léo tallied his first assist of the season, and ranks third on the team with three points.
Floyd Watts finished with four saves and ranks second in the MEC with 21 saves on the season.
