Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Shawnee State (23-9, 16-6) was swept in a two-game series for the first time this season Friday, dropping two games to IU Southeast.

Neither team scored in the sixth or seventh innings, sending the game to extra innings.

IU Southeast scored three runs in the top of the eighth to lead Shawnee State 5-2.

Despite their first two batters reaching base safely, the Bears were held scoreless in the bottom of the inning as IU Southeast secured the 5-2 win.
