MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The River States Conference has selected Isaiah Lanoy as its Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Lanoy ran 9:17.16 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Charlotte 49er Classic over the weekend, hitting the NAIA B standard to qualify for nationals.

The junior paced the 21-athlete field and is ranked No. 1 nationally in the NAIA in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

The Shawnee State men's outdoor track and field team returns to action Thursday, March 26, for Day 1 of the Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.
