WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Ethan Morrison set a new Shawnee State men's outdoor track and field 400-meter record at the Otterbein Twilight Meet on Friday, clocking in at 49.39.

The freshman surpassed Cody Hesler's 2025 mark of 50.17 to establish the new record.

The men's outdoor track and field team has now broken six program records this spring.

The Shawnee State men's outdoor track and field team returns to action Friday, May 1, for the first day of the River States Conference Championship Meet at the Stockmeister Track & Field Complex in Rio Grande, Ohio.
