YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Shawnee State's men's indoor track and field team took six athletes to the YSU Mid-Major Invitational on Friday, with five earning top-10 finishes in their respective events.
Five Shawnee State athletes competed in the 1,000 meters, where four finished in the top 10.
Eli Lengl placed fifth in 2:34.11, while Isaiah Lanoy finished sixth at 2:34.79.
Cody Hesler and Trevor Lanoy followed in eighth and 10th with times of 2:35.91 and 2:37.57, respectively.
Dakotah Sanders placed 12th in 2:40.71.
Luke Rader rounded out Shawnee State's competitors Friday, placing third in the long jump with a mark of 7.07 meters.
