MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The River States Conference unveiled its annual awards Saturday, naming Shawnee State's
Luke Rader its Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.
The selection marks the second time that Rader has been chosen as the River States Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Year (2025).
Rader, a Minford, Ohio, native, qualified for national competition at the River States Conference Championship Meet last week as the junior hit the NAIA A standard in the long jump with a mark of 7.27 meters.
Rader also claimed RSC championships in the triple jump and long jump.
Rader is a two-time All-American in the long jump (indoor and outdoor 2025) and holds six Shawnee State school records: indoor triple jump, outdoor triple jump, indoor long jump, outdoor long jump, 110-meter hurdles and 4x100-meter relay.
