COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Shawnee State men's and women's bowling teams competed in the Ohio Bowling Conference Event No. 3 on Thursday, with the women finishing eighth and the men placing 10th.
WOMEN
The SSU women's bowling team placed eighth in the 12-team event, knocking down 4,508 pins.
Sophomore
Onesti Evans was the Bears' top scorer with 566 pins (188 average), claiming 13th place out of 64 bowlers.

Bailey Mitchell, 43rd, 457 (152);
Morgan Higgins, 49th, 432 (144);
Maria Mara, 51st, 409 (136).
MEN
The men's team finished 10th out of 14 teams with 5,081 pins.
Junior
Blake Landers was the highest individual finisher for Shawnee State, finishing tied for 19th out of 108 bowlers with 631 pins (210 average).
