The athletic department at Shawnee State University will be holding the annual 2025 Bear Run Wednesday, Sept. 24 for all interested participants on the Shawnee State campus. The race will begin at 6 p.m. with check in to begin at 5 p.m., one hour before the race's commencement.

All Shawnee State students as well as any individual that is 18 or younger and do not purchase a Bear Run t-shirt will get to race in the Bear Run at no charge. SSU students and all students of the ages of 18 or younger who do opt for a t-shirt will only pay $10, the price of the shirt, to race.

All adults who choose not to buy a t-shirt will pay $25 to race, while adults who choose to buy a t-shirt will put up $35 to race in the annual event.
