GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The men's golf program at Shawnee State put two of its best and brightest golfers on the 2025 College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District list, as Shawnee State sophomore Trey Cracraft and Shawnee State senior Tanner Stevenson were each named to the unit as announced by national officials within the CSC organization Tuesday afternoon.
Cracraft, who sports a 3.82 GPA as a physical therapy assistant major, has already passed over 70 hours of college credit academically. The sophomore, a graduate of nearby Mason County High School in Maysville, Ky., made the President's List during the Fall 2024 semester while making the Dean's List in each of his additional three semesters on campus so far.
Athletically, Cracraft enjoyed his best season to date during the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with four top-10s and eight top-15s in 10 events over the course of the season while also being named to the 2024 Roger Merb Invitational and the 2025 Ohio Christian University Spring Invitational All-Tournament Teams.
Individually, Cracraft improved his stroke mark from 81.7 in 2023-24 to 78.1 during the 2024-25 season and posted an individual win-loss-tie record of 323-75-13 during the year, as well.
The 2025 River States Conference Scholar-Athlete and 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athlete claimed CSC Academic All-District accolades in his first season eligible for the award.
Stevenson, who graduated from Shawnee State with a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, earned a 3.59 GPA. The Wheelersburg High School graduate enjoyed a career year, like Cracraft, by posting five top-10 and six top-15 events in 10 events during the 2024-25 season while lowering his own scoring average from 81.3 in 2023-24 to 79.4 during the 2024-25 season.
Overall, Stevenson, a 2025 Ohio Christian University Spring Invitational All-Tournament Team member as well, finished with an individual win-loss-tie record of 270-130-11. Stevenson is a repeat CSC Academic All-District honoree who has been an academic all-conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete recipient across three consecutive seasons.
