The men's golf program at Shawnee State will play in six invitational events across four different states this coming fall in a 2025 fall semester schedule release that was announced by Shawnee State men's golf head coach Dave Hopkins Monday.
Shawnee State will begin the 2025 season with a return to the Denison Golf Club in Granville, Ohio for the two-day Ted Barclay Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31 -- which will be hosted by NCAA Division III Denison University. A trip southward to the Bluegrass State for the Alice Lloyd Fall Invitational follows a week-and-a-half later.
On Monday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Sept. 23, the men's golf program at Shawnee State will again host the annual two-day Roger Merb Invitational -- which will take place at Elks Country Club in McDermott -- and serve as a tune-up for the River States Conference's Fall Preview, which will take place the following Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29 and Sept. 30).
Shawnee State closes out the fall semester with two familiar trips -- as the Bears will travel northward on U.S. 23 for the Ohio Christian University Fall Invitational on Monday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Crown Hill Golf Course in Williamsport, and finish off the week with a two-day trek to Indiana-Kokomo for the Crimson Classic, which will take place at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Ind.
