SSU softball to hold Prospect Camp (July 15), Youth Skills Camp (July 16)

The softball program at Shawnee State will be holding two camps across the middle of July, as Kristen Bradshaw's program will hold the Shawnee State Softball Prospect Camp on Tuesday, July 15, followed by the Shawnee State Softball Youth Skills Camp on Wednesday, July 16. Both camps will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Shawnee State Softball Prospect Camp, which is being offered for individuals from eighth through 12th grades, costs $50 per camper.

As for the Shawnee State Softball Youth Skills Camp, that camp will cover interested individuals from the ages of six through 12. This camp will also cost each signee $50 per camper.

Both camps will be held at Doc Singleton Park, which is located at 22263 OH-104, West Portsmouth, OH 45663.

Over the past two seasons, the Shawnee State softball program has gone 63-29 under Bradshaw, which is the best two-season stretch for the program since the Bears went 74-22 in the 1998 and 1999 seasons.

Shawnee State won the River States Conference East Division title and went to the River States Conference Championship Series in 2024, finishing as the RSC Tournament Runner-Up under Bradshaw. The 2024 Wright State Athletics' Mary & Al Schwarz Hall of Fame inductee has won 68.5 percent of her games at SSU.
