For the second consecutive season, the women's track and field program will send two athletes to the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships -- as Olivia Cisco and Natalie Brammer will compete over the first two days of the three-day event, which is being held at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. for the third consecutive season from an outdoor standpoint.
Olivia Cisco
A terrific runner who has accumulated one First-Team All-RSC placement and a top-55 finish nationally in cross country and five Second-Team All-RSC placements to go along with a 10th place finish nationally in the 5,000 meter run from an indoor track and field standpoint, Olivia Cisco will look to continue to add to her standing among the nation's best as the junior runs in in the 10,000 meter run on Wednesday, May 21 at 8:20 p.m.
Cisco, who qualified for the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships for the second consecutive year by setting a NAIA National 'B' Standard mark of 36:44.10 at the Lee (Tenn.) Athletics Fast Break Invitational, is seeded 15th overall ahead of next week's national championship race.
In the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, Cisco ran a 38:50.86 to place in 22nd overall in the event. She is one of only two River States Conference runners to qualify for this season's 10,000 meter run final.
Natalie Brammer
Qualifying for her second NAIA Track and Field National Championships, Natalie Brammer used her personal best time of 31:53.36 at the Cumberlands (Ky.) Early Spring Meet back two months ago to the day -- March 14 -- to grab the 20th and final spot in the 5,000 meter racewalk field. Brammer will compete Thursday, May 22 at 4:45 p.m.
Brammer, who ran an 18:44.10 to finish 16th in the 3,000 meter racewalk in the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships, is one of six River States Conference runners who will be competing in next Thursday's final.
