SSU women's bowling finishes 12th at Greater Nashville, 13th at Brandon Burns

SMYRNA, Tenn. -- The women's bowling program at Shawnee State competed in two events held through the Mid-South Conference ranks Saturday and Sunday, with the Bears finishing 12th in the PBA Greater Nashville Open on Saturday and 13th in the Brandon Burns Classic on Sunday.

In Saturday's event, Kaylee Randolph led the Bears with a four-game 691, posting a 172.8 pin average while collecting a game-high 185 pins in Game 2. Bailey Mitchell, Maria Mara and Onesti Evans all followed suit with 60th, 63rd and 66th place finishes, knocking down 639, 632 and 621 pins respectively.

On Sunday, Mara ultimately finished 66th in the rundown, posting a four-game 636 while dropping 178 pins in Game 2. Evans and Randolph followed by dropping 608 and 607 pins, respectively, over their four-game series to finish 77th and 78th in the field.

The women's bowling program will return to action alongside the men's bowling program Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9 when the two programs head to participate in the two-day Raider Classic.
