The Shawnee State men's soccer team celebrated their Seniors before Saturday's game against Brescia University. The Bears dominated the game and took the win with a 3-0 score.
The first half started with Matheus Camargo taking the first shot on goal for the Bears, but it was saved by Chase Garrett, keeper for the Bearcats. Even though the Bears controlled the first half, they had no luck finding the back of the net. Both teams went into the halftime break scoreless.
Starting the second half, Camargo found the back of the net after a pass from Joao Toledo within the first minute of the second half. The Bears proved they had control of the game when they scored two more goals in the second half by Guillermo Conejo and Trevor Aveiro. The Bears took the win on senior night with a score of 3-0 as the second half ended.
After a big win on senior night, the Shawnee State men's soccer team will travel to face Oakland City University on Saturday for the River States Conference quarterfinal game. The game starts at 3 PM.
