Senior Kat Westendorf scored with less than four minutes remaining in the game to pull the Bears' within one to the Golden Bears of West Virginia Tech, but it wasn't enough as the Bears fell 3-2 in the "Kick for Crohn's" game on Friday afternoon. Shawnee State falls to 6-3 on the season, while West Virginia Tech improves to 4-5-1.
West Virginia Tech jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Their first goal came in the 25th minute as Carla Carvalho scored in the box.
