PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Six different players scored goals for Shawnee State (2-2-1, 1-0) as the Bears topped Cincinnati-Clermont, 6-0, for their second straight win.
Yuri Neeve got things started quickly for Shawnee State, scoring his first goal of the season 51 seconds into the half to give the Bears a 1-0 lead.
Less than a minute later,
Théo Cavaleiro Trindade extended Shawnee State's advantage to 2-0 with his third goal of the season at the 1:39 mark.
Trindade is tied for first in the Mountain East Conference with three goals and leads the MEC with eight points.
Dylan Gallagher scored his first collegiate goal in the 39' to push the Bears' lead to 3-0. On the same play,
Sei Aitoku recorded his first assist of the season.
Just over five minutes later,
Mario Sanz scored his first goal of the season to extend Shawnee State's advantage to 4-0.
João Coqueti Léo, assisted by Trindade, scored in the 69' to make it 5-0. The goal was junior's first of the season.

Hugo Martins scored the Bears' final goal of the night from nearly 50 yards away to give Shawnee State a 6-0 lead over Cincinnati-Clermont.

Théo Cavaleiro Trindade scored his team-leading third goal of the season in the first minute of Wednesday's nonconference match with Cincinnati-Clermont. The junior is third in the MEC in goals scored, and leads the conference with eight points.
Yuri Neeve scored his first goal as a Shawnee State Bear. The sophomore leads the team with 11 shots and six shots on goal.

Eduardo Peña played all 90 minutes in goal for the Bears, recording two saves and his first career shutout.
Shawnee State recorded season highs in shots (23), shots on goal (12), goals (6) assists (2) and points (14).
Defensively, the Bears held the Cougars to six total shots, their fewest allowed in a single game this season and seven fewer than their previous low of 12 against Ohio Dominican.
