PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Shawnee State (0-4-2, 0-3-2) drew Charleston, 1-1, Sunday afternoon at the Shawnee Turf.
Charleston quickly took a 1-0 lead in the first half, scoring in the 19'.
Eleven minutes later,
Sydney Wodzsiz scored her first-career goal to tie the match, 1-1.
Neither team scored over the final 15 minutes of the frame, sending the match to halftime tied, 1-1.
Harlee Brand recorded two saves in the second half to keep the Golden Eagles scoreless, while Shawnee State did not record a shot on goal as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
