CRESTVIEW, Ky. -- Shawnee State (0-1, 0-0) fell to Thomas More Thursday at Republic Bank Field, 4-0.
Anna Sas recorded the Bears' only shot on goal in the first half in the 5'.
Thomas More scored twice in the opening half, finding the back of the net in the 27' and 43'.
To begin the second half,
Elsa Vega put a shot on goal in the 46', but Saints goalkeeper Emma Yeager made the save.
Lucie Ashkettle recorded a shot on goal in the 57', but Yeager made her second save of the night.
Thomas More extended its lead over Shawnee State to 4-0 with goals in the 66' and 68', respectively.
Ashkettle recorded her second shot on goal of the match in the 80', but it was rejected by Yeager.
The Bears did not record a shot over the final nine minutes as the Saints secured the 4-0 win over Shawnee State.

Lucie Ashkettle, who led Shawnee State with 29 shots on goal last season, recorded a team-high two against Thomas More.
Anna Sas and
Elsa Vega each recorded their first shots on goal of the season.
Harlee Brand started in goal for the Bears, collecting six saves and allowing two goals in the first half.
Brooklyn Hawes started the second half in goal for Shawnee State, posting two saves and allowing two goals over 45 minutes.
The Bears were outshot 25-4 overall and 12-4 in shots on goal.
