Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Shawnee State suffered its second consecutive loss to begin the 2026 season Sunday evening, falling to Alabama-Huntsville, 6-0, at Charger Park.
The Chargers quickly took a 1-0 lead as Samuel Quickfall scored in the 7'.
Yuri Neeve put two shots on goal in the 11' and 15', respectively, with both being saved by UAH goalkeeper Sonny Wright.
UAH extended its lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 26'.
Julian Bustos put his first shot on goal of the season in the 29' before UAH increased its lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 35'.
The Chargers quickly added another goal in the 40' to extend it's advantage to 4-0.
In the 62', Neeve recorded his third shot on goal of the game, but Wright made the save once again.
UAH scored goals in the 74' and 88' to extend its lead to 6-0.
The Bears did not record a shot on goal for the final 28 minutes as they fell to Alabama-Huntsville, 6-0.

Yuri Neeve led the Bears with three shots on goal. The junior leads the team with six shots through two matches, four of which have been on goal.
Julian Bustos recorded his first shot on goal of the season in the 29'.

Eduardo Peña played 37 minutes in the second half, recording two saves and allowing one goal.
Floyd Watts made his second consecutive start and finished with two saves and three goals allowed over 36 minutes.
Tomas Ibarra played the final 15 minutes, allowing two goals.
