Chayse Lipscomb capped off an impressive freshman year with an All-American performance in the 110-meter hurdles at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
Following an eighth-place finish (14.15) in Thursday's preliminaries,
Chayse Lipscomb posted a 14.18 in the 110-meter hurdles finals to finish fifth and earn his first career All-American honor.
This season, Lipscomb broke Shawnee State men's outdoor track records in the 200-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. He also owns the indoor track records in the 200-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles.
Lipscomb was
named River States Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the regular season.
