LONDON, Ky. -- The Shawnee State men's golf team competed in the Patriot Invite on Monday and Tuesday, finishing eighth in the 10-team field.
The Bears shot 79 over par as a team to edge Oakland City and West Virginia Tech, which finished at 84 and 121 over par, respectively.
Cumberlands (Ky.) won the invitational, shooting even par through 36 holes.

Trey Cracraft shot 10 over par, the lowest individual score for Shawnee State, and finished tied for 18th with four other players.
