MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The River States Conference has selected
Ahmadou Aw as its Defensive Player of the Week.
Aw totaled 11 steals in two conference games, highlighted by a season-high seven in Shawnee State's
79-74 overtime win over IU Southeast, while averaging five defensive rebounds per game.
The Maryland native joins
Tyreon Payne as the only two Shawnee State men's basketball players to earn RSC Defensive Player of the Week Honors this season.

Shawnee State (16-4, 8-0) returns to action Thursday, Jan. 29, when it travels to Beckley, West Virginia to face West Virginia Tech. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
