KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The men's cross country program at Shawnee State held serve in the latest NAIA Men's Cross Country National Rating that was released Thursday afternoon, as the Bears notched 120 points to hold the 24th position nationally -- where the Shawnee State men's cross country program was ranked at during the preseason -- according to a national rating that was released by officials associated with the NAIA.
Shawnee State, who claimed 120 points on the men's side of the poll to remain in the 24th spot, have been led by
Isaiah Lanoy and
Trevor Lanoy, who have finished inside the top-25 in every race the duo have run in so far in 2025.
Isaiah Lanoy, who finished 69th in the 2024 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships, has finished 15th, 17th and sixth at the Thundering Herd XC Invitational, the Indiana Wesleyan University Twilight Meet and the All-Ohio XC Classic, respectively while
Trevor Lanoy has accumulated finishes of sixth, 18th and 22nd.
Behind the lead duo,
Eli Lengl has posted finishes of 19th and 32nd, respectively, at the Thundering Herd XC Invitational and the IWU Twilight Meet, while
Jerry O'Dell finished 22nd, 79th and 86th in the Thundering Herd XC Invitational, the IWU Twilight Meet and the All-Ohio XC Classic.
Connor Darnell has added in finishes of 70th and 66th at Indiana Wesleyan and the All-Ohio XC Classic to close out the main performers for the Shawnee State cross country program in 2025.
