The volleyball program at Shawnee State placed six individuals on the NAIA Scholar-Athlete list Wednesday afternoon -- as
Ava Jenkins,
Brooke Bossert,
Camille Hall,
Megan Steele,
Reagan Lewis and
Whytney Faulkner were named to the list as announced by national officials.
Lewis, who continues to hold an unblemished 4.0 GPA as a biology major, has passed over 125 hours of academic credit in what has been a fantastic student-athlete career at Shawnee State, while Jenkins -- who, like Lewis, is from Northwest -- has a 3.94 GPA while earning 120 hours of academic credit so far with a focus in Integrated Science AYA 7-12.
Faulkner, the third of the six honorees to hold above a 3.9, has notched over 35 hours of academic credit as a PTA major.
Bossert (health science), Hall (exercise science) and Steele (nursing) each hold GPAs above 3.5, with Bossert's 3.6 GPA and over 40 hours of academic credit, Hall's 3.59 GPA and Steele's 3.55 GPA with 110 hours of academic credit leading Shawnee State's accomplishments.
