Shawnee State men's cross country runners
Isaiah Lanoy,
Kaiden Lanoy and
Trevor Lanoy already enjoy an almost larger-than-life status on campus, both in terms of their running abilities as well as their fun-loving personalities.
The triplets will get to add to their legendary statuses at Shawnee State on Friday, Nov. 21 -- as the trio officially qualified for at-large berths into the 70th Annual NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship Meet, which will be held at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
All three runners qualified individually by placing among the top-four runners from a non-qualifying national team and by finishing inside the top-15 of the River States Conference Championship Meet.
In that meet,
Isaiah Lanoy ran a 25:09.01 to finish second while
Trevor Lanoy finished seventh in running a 25:57.70. Both Isaiah and Trevor were named as First-Team All-RSC runners as a result of the race itself.
Kaiden Lanoy, who finished 13th with a time of 26:17.50, was a Second-Team All-RSC performer.
Kaiden and
Trevor Lanoy will be running in their third NAIA National Meet in as many seasons at Shawnee State, while
Isaiah Lanoy will be competing in his second.
Isaiah Lanoy was the top finisher of the triplets in 2024, finishing inside the top-70 overall in the field.
