OLIVE HILL, Ky. -- The women's golf program at Shawnee State added a last-minute fall event to its 2025-26 slate, competing in the two-day, 36-hole Kentucky Christian Fall Invitational event Monday and Tuesday at Grayson Lake State Park in Olive Hill, Ky. -- with the Bears' 'A' squad finishing second and its 'B' group nabbing a fourth place finish.
Aly Wellman, who shot a two-day 186, finished fourth in the 20-golfer field to lead Shawnee State -- posting nine pars and a birdie in all -- while
Saylor Crace tied for seventh overall on the leaderboard, posting eight pars for the tournament including five on the second day.
Brynna Spencer (ninth),
Cali Baird (10th) and
Olivia Lewis (12th) led the 'A' squad, while Bree Stid (14th),
Brooklyn Webb (17th),
Emily Weber (19th) and
Alia Rippeth (20th) led the 'B' group.
Shawnee State officially concluded the fall season with this tournament. The Bears will be back in action during the spring semester.
