KOKOMO, Ind. -- The women's golf program at Shawnee State ultimately held its position from the opening round through the second and final 18 holes of competition, as the Bears ultimately finished fourth on the second and final day of the Crimson Classic, which was held at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Ind.
Cali Baird and
Aly Wellman, who each tied for 17th overall in the final rundown, led the Bears with two-day 179s -- while
Saylor Crace and
Olivia Lewis, who each tied for 20th in the field, followed four strokes back of the lead Shawnee State duo.
Brynna Spencer (24th) and
Isabelle Melvin (29th) rounded out the field of competitors in the event.
Shawnee State concluded the fall portion of its schedule with the conclusion of the two-day Crimson Classic. The spring schedule will be released at a later date.
