The baseball program at Shawnee State fell by a 21-3 margin to the Georgetown Tigers' baseball program Tuesday evening at Branch Rickey Park in Portsmouth.
Zach Gaspar's solo home run in the bottom of the second inning was followed by an RBI single by Hunter Warner in the third inning, which scored Kyle Eslick, and after a one-out double by Par Rockhold, a wild pitch allowed Rockhold to score on a sacrifice fly by Eslick.
Shawnee State will be back in action Friday and Saturday afternoon when the Bears (10-15) face West Virginia Tech. First pitch on Friday is at 3 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader begins at 12 p.m.
