League of Legends Falls to Tritons

On Saturday, SSU League of Legends faced the University of Missouri – St. Louis Tritons in cLoL season play. In two sub-25-minute games, the Bears fell in 0 – 2 fashion.  

The first game was a 23-minute defeat where the Bears collectively earned eleven eliminations. Nearly half were claimed by PoYun Kuan (gamertag: ONAD), with five to his credit. Top assists went to Brandon Reed (gamertag: SenpaiAtTheDisco). The support player aided his teammates seven times. Chase Minor (gamertag: ArcticWolf) played self-preservation well, only falling twice.

The second game was a 24-minute loss for the squad that told much the same story. Top eliminations went to Minor, who earned four of the team's ten as Rumble. Top player damage went to Aaron Allen (gamertag: Turtlestrike), who earned 19,771 as Hwei in the second game. The mid laner also brought in top assists, earning five to his credit. He was closely followed by Dustin Simpkins (gamertag: breadlofe) who aided his teammates four times on Xin Zhao.

Next up for League of Legends is a Sunday cLoL match, this time against Kansas State. The action starts at 2:00 on February 26.
