Last night, Rocket League claimed their third win to stay undefeated in NACE spring season play against the University of North Carolina Wilmington. They claimed the win in clean 3 – 1 fashion after highly competitive games.
Game one was a 2 – 1 win for the squad, who split the work fairly evenly. Both PJ Fiscus (gamertag: Fisci25) and Kevin Keller, Jr. (gamertag: quietkiller) scored one goal each. Fiscus shared the supporting role with teammate Dyllan DeBruyne (gamertag: Duckworth), each earning one assist.
Game two was an extremely close 4 – 3 loss for the Bears. DeBruyne led the team for goals with two to his name. Keller earned the final goal, assisted by DeBruyne. Fiscus earned one assist and two saves in the second game.
The third game went into overtime for the 4 – 3 Bears win. DeBruyne put in work this game, with half the squad's goals and four saves to his credit. Fiscus earned one goal and four saves of his own, with Keller claiming the last goal and two assists.
The final game saw nearly three minutes of overtime before the Bears claimed the win 3 – 2. Fiscus claimed two of the squad's goals, successfully completing half the goals he attempted.
Next up for the Bears is a March 4 game against Thomas College. The Bears look to continue their undefeated streak in NACE, beginning at 7:00 PM.
