The Bears Softball team played a doubleheader against Miami Hamilton on Sunday, April 1st. Winning game one 9-0 and game two 6-2.
In game one, Cassie Schaefer would throw a complete game two-hitter and strike out a sixth of Harrier hitters. The Bears would score a run in each inning. In the first inning, Ashley Fite doubled to right scoring Kylie Ray, later in the inning Lauren Spears would score Fite on a sacrifice fly. In the second, Allison Tom would double-scoring Mackenzie Hale. In the third inning, a Schaefer single scored Andi Webb, followed by a Lexie Lockwood single scoring Schaefer. In the fourth, Schaefer and Hale each had an RBI. The biggest story of the day was a Laiken Rice homer in the fourth, the first of her career.

In game two, Cameryn Davidson would throw four innings allowing five hits and just one run and Carly King would relieve Davidson, completing the other three innings while striking out seven batters and allowing just one run on one hit. In the second the Bears would get the bats rolling with a Morgan Grambell sacrifice fly to bring in Lauren Spears followed by an Andrea Little double-scoring Grambell. Over the next two innings, the Bears would score off three doubles scoring three more runs followed by a sac fly to go up 6-1 and eventually win the contest 6-2.
