The Shawnee State Softball team traveled to Asbury University and would struggle to hit the ball in game one and would convert in game two.
In game one, the Bears would only manage four hits. The Bear's pitching would hold their own, only allowing three runs all in the first two innings of the contest. The Bears would lose 3-0 in game one looking to bounce back in game two.
In game two, Hailey Sneedon would allow two hits and only one earned run over her four innings of work. Cameryn Davidson would allow one hit over her final three innings of the game. The only run allowed by the Bears came in the fourth inning falling behind 1-0. In the fifth Lexie Lockwood would single up the middle to score two runs to take a 2-1 lead. In the seventh Lauren Spears scored Ashley Fite. The Bears would go on to win 3-1.
