The Shawnee State men's soccer team traveled to Kentucky, for a close game against the Eagles from Midway University. The game ended 1-0 for the Eagles.

Starting the first half Eric Green, keeper for the Bears, had two consecutive saves in the first 10 minutes of the game. The first half was a back-and-forth battle where both teams were battling for control of the game. The Bears had 2 shots in the first half, while the Eagles had 8. The clock ran out of time for the first half and the score remained 0-0.

In the second half, the Eagles scored the only goal of the game in the 51st minute. The Bears had a tough time finding the back of the net and the game ended with a score of 1-0 for the Eagles from Midway University.

The Shawnee State men's soccer team will welcome the Bearcats of Brescia University on Saturday at the Shawnee Turf for Senior Night. The game starts at 5 PM. Come out early for the Senior Day ceremonies.
